London, England -
Huntsworth plc, the specialist communications group, has acquired Haslimann Taylor, a Midlands-based public relations consultancy. Pembridge acted as lead advisors to Patzi Haslimann.
Patzi Haslimann, founder and chairman, started Haslimann Taylor in 1987 and has seen significant revenue growth over recent years. Haslimann Taylor's blue chip clients include Taylor Woodrow and Bryant Homes, M&B brands, Harvester, Vintage Inns, O'Neill's, Toby, Edwards and Browns, plus Bostik Findley, Papa John's, Essential Health and Arriva.
Patzi Haslimann said, "Pembridge brokered a very good deal for me. Haslimann Taylor is a robust and attractive company but the market was not at its most buoyant when we decided to sell, so an active and aggressive approach was very important. Rose Lewis worked closely with me and kept me focused and sane. I am delighted with the outcome."
Rose Lewis, Pembridge partner, said,"The sale of Haslimann Taylor to Huntsworth plc demonstrates that good quality marketing services companies can be sold at a fair value. The terms represent an excellent deal both for all parties, particularly for the future of Haslimann Taylor."
The company will retain its brand identity, and will continue under the direction of its existing management team led by managing director Bron Eames. Patzi Haslimann will remain as Deputy Chairman, while Alison Clarke of Huntsworth is appointed Chairman.
