London, England - Burns Owens Partnership and Pembridge Partners LLP today announced a joint venture to deliver programmes of intervention supporting public agencies that share their mission to stimulate growth and productivity in the UK Creative Industries sector. Create Consult Media (CCM) Ltd will operate the new service to promote growth in the creative sector but its services it will be sold through the two joint venture partners' existing brands.
CCM brings together the macro-economic expertise of the UK's leading creative research firm with the micro-economic and practical experience of the UK's leading creative business accelerator.
Hugh Mason, a founding partner at Pembridge Partner LLP and the new joint venture's Chief Executive, said: "Our expertise as a business accelerator is increasingly in demand from public agencies. They are looking not just for practical know-how, but for a broader economic rationale for their investment. The link with BOP will enable us to identify and deliver to individual firms on the basis of the best economic evidence."
Paul Owens, Director of Burns Owens Partnership, said: "All the economic evidence shows that there is huge untapped growth potential in the creative sector in every region of the UK. But public agencies have historically lacked the knowledge and the expertise to identify and realize that potential. Our venture introduces a genuinely new end-to-end service onto the market, which will enable our clients to maximize the return on their investment in support schemes and programmes. Working with us they will know where to invest their money and efforts and how to do it for maximum impact."
BOP and Pembridge are currently in negotiation with a number of public agencies across the UK with a view to CCM Ltd delivering services.
