Newcastle-on-Tyne, England - Dene Films, one of the North East's leading film and television production companies, today announced that it was celebrating a third year of 50%+compound growth in both turnover and profitability. Pembridge has worked with the company throughout that period, helping to sustain speed, focus and momentum, and accelerating the business from a previous period of profitable but stable operation.
The engagement commenced with a business vision and planning session to review the current strategy and positioning of Dene Films. The session identified potential growth scenarios and set out a business plan with a strategy for value growth.
Following this planning session, Pembridge was retained as a Non-Executive Director (NED) by the owners of Dene Films to support them in implementing the value growth strategy. This long-term partnership saw Pembridge advising on a range of matters including:
- Developing new revenue generating business models;
- Developing individual and corporate key performance indicators;
- Identifying organic and non-organic growth opportunities for Dene Films;
- Executing competitive benchmarking.
Steve Salam, majority owner of Dene Films, said: "For the past couple of years I have come to rely on Pembridge and its partners for excellent strategic advice to focus the magenement team to delivering the business plan and growth strategy rather than in getting bogged down in day-to-day matters in every team meeting. David Prais, in particular, has been instrumental in achieving a balance of creative and commercial focus and has ensured that we have been continuously growing since 2003".
