Singapore City, Singapore - Pembridge Asia Pte Ltd announced today that veteran entrepreneur Charles Letts has agreed to chair its new board.
After serving with the British Armed Forces in World War II and thereafter in the British Foreign Office, Charles Letts was a main board director of Jardine Matheson & Co Limited for 15 years and then set up his own business.
Thereafter, for over 40 years, Letts has held directorships and advisory posts in companies covering a wide range of activities in various countries, with particular emphasis on the plantation industry. Present directorships include The China Club Limited and China Investment Fund.
Graham Lean, Chief Executive of Pembridge Asia, said: "We are honoured that Charles has agreed to help us steer the strategic course as Pembridge expands into Asia. I know that his long experience of the region and his connections around it will be a great asset to us. We look forward to working with Charles greatly."
