Sheffield, England -- Pembridge worked with iconic design consultancy The Designers Republic this month to help the owner and the management team develop a growth strategy for the next 1-2 years.
As part of the engagement, Pembridge delivered a comprehensive business review that benchmarked The Designers Republic's performance against its competition and peers. Based on that analysis, Pembridge was able to identify the consultancy's key drivers of value and how these can be used to build shareholder value. Bringing the drivers of value together with the personal objectives of the owner and the management team resulted in the development of a growth plan over the next two years.
Rose Lewis, the Partner at Pembridge who delivered the Strategic Review, said: "The Designers Republic is a rapidly growing and extremely profitable design consultancy. One of the key issues we addressed in the Strategic Review was how this rapid growth could be sustained and managed. It is important to ensure that growth is not pursued for growth's sake, but that it delivers more exciting clients and briefs, as well as satisfies the owners and management team on a day-to-day basis. I think we laid the foundations for that in the Strategic Review for The Designers Republic".
Richard Wright, Managing Director of The Designers Republic, added: "We all worked hard to grow The Designers Republic and we have been successful in achieving our goals of exciting blue-chip clients and outstanding creative work. But we needed to ensure that the right systems and processes are in place to faciltate and accelerate our expansion, more than we intuitively had put in place. Pembridge helped us implement the most appropriate structures to confidently grow over the next 1-2 years".
