London, England - Pembridge Partners announced today that it is extending its network of Associates to meet rising demand for business development advice across the world.
Commitment to establish the new network structure emerged from a summit meeting held in Westminster. A first group of twenty new Pembridge Associates will continue to operate their own portfolio of clients from a diverse range of locations, but they are now able to draw on each other and the resources of Pembridge and its group companies to offer a more holistic service. In addition to exclusive access to market insights, trends and opportunities, the network incentivises referrals of work between network members and makes the process of managing referrals "friction free."
Greg Orme, Pembridge Associate, and former CEO of Centre for Creative Business at London Business School said:
"Having worked closely with Pembridge Partners over the last five years I've watched first-hand as they pulled together a world-class network of business advisors, mentors and trainers. I'm privileged and excited to be invited to be part of the launch of the associate network and I'm confident we can achieve more together than we can as solo of the players."
Media rights specialist Andrew Baker, CEO of Rights.TV was also among the first to see the potential.
"My pitch to TV and media client is simple - commerce for creatives - and my focus within that helps them extract the maximum value from their Intellectual Property assets," he said. "I often get involved in helping to finance media projects such as TV series but when, for example, a client then asks me to raise cash for equity in their business, I know that's not my core focus. The Pembridge Associates network lets me tap into the resources of Pembridge to give my client what they need. I keep the client relationship but I'm able to expand the scope of what I offer"
Julian Davies has worked in creative agencies for 20 years, following qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
"The fact that I've worked in both financial and commercial roles means I can rapidly establish trust and make a positive impact in a business," said Julian.
"Ironically, the rapid impact I make on businesses sometimes brings a challenge because I get asked to advise on issues like HR which I am very aware falls outside my specialisation. Now, through the Pembridge Associates network, I can effortlessly tap into the expertise of associates who I can trust to address any business issue a client might face. If I can't answer their question immediately, I 'know a man who can'. It makes really comprehensive business support affordable and immediately available to my clients and every time I help them out, it deepens the relationship between us."
The Pembridge Associates network was the brainchild of Rebecca Watson, Operations Director at Pembridge Partners, who saw the opportunity to use social media technology to make it work effortlessly, inexpensively and effectively.
"My role involves coordinating Pembridge's work with over 2,000 Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises around the world. Talking with our full-time Partners and the Associates we have worked with on an ad-hoc basis to date, I became very aware that there was a real opportunity to join up the energy everyone was putting in to engage with and service their clients," said Rebecca. "Often, a business engages with one of us to solve a particular issue, or at a particular time in its growth cycle, and clients don't realise that we have the ability to support them all the way from start-up to flotation, in several markets around the world. Now, online social media technology allows us to link up clients, Associates and our operating businesses in a way that will empower everyone to give the range of advice that SMEs need in these challenging times at a price they can afford and from an advisor they already trust."
The Pembridge Associates network is set to continue expanding and independent consultants who believe that they and their clients could benefit are welcome to explore joining up.
